Our Fabrics, Your Future: Why Every Thread Matters

Our Fabrics, Your Future: Why Every Thread Matters

When you slip into something from Onesta, you're not just putting on clothes - you're stepping into a story. One woven with care, responsibility, and a deep respect for people and planet.

We believe that the fabric of our future depends on the fabrics we choose today. That’s why every Onesta garment starts with a question: Is this kind to the earth and to the people who make it?

1. Organic Cotton: Soft on Skin, Softer on the Planet

Our organic cotton is grown without harmful pesticides, using significantly less water than conventional cotton. The result? A fabric that’s breathable, durable, and gentle on your skin as well as on the soil it came from.

We source from certified suppliers who ensure ethical working conditions and environmental protection at every stage.

Did you know? Organic cotton uses up to 91% less water than conventional cotton. 🌱

2. TENCEL™ & Modal: Nature’s Performance Fabrics

Made from responsibly sourced wood pulp, TENCEL™ and Modal are some of the most sustainable fibres available today. They’re lightweight, moisture-wicking, and feel incredibly smooth which is perfect for elevated essentials that work as hard as you do.

Plus, the closed-loop production process means up to 99% of the water and solvents used are recycled.

3. Eco-Certified Dyes & Low-Waste Processes

Colour is powerful but it shouldn’t come at a cost to the environment. We use low-impact, OEKO-TEX® certified dyes that meet strict safety standards, both for people and the planet.

5. Transparency Is the New Luxury

At Onesta, we’re committed to honesty. From raw materials to final stitch, we trace our supply chain so you know exactly what you're wearing and what you're supporting.

We work closely with small, ethical factories and individual seamstresses that provide safe working conditions, fair wages, and dignified employment.

We don’t believe in fast fashion or hidden costs. We believe in progress, in thoughtful design, slow production and conscious consumption. When you choose better fabrics, you’re choosing a better future.
