Care Instructions
Take care of your clothes, take care of the planet.
We want you to get the most out of your purchase, that’s why we we’re sharing some tips on how to make your clothes last longer and how to care for them with minimal impact to the planet. We use fibres that you may not have come across in your clothing before, from eucalyptus trees to seaweed, so here’s a simple guide on how to look after them:
-
Washing at 30° (or less) is kinder on the natural fibres used in your clothes, helping them to stay in better condition, and last longer. Your washing machine uses less energy to heat up the water on a cold water wash, reducing your carbon footprint.
-
Try using a non-bio washing detergent, like Fill or Bio-D – they have fewer harsh chemicals than bio detergents, so they are not only gentler on your clothing, but also to the planet – and your skin! Try using non-fragranced detergent if you have sensitive skin.
-
Avoid tumble drying – it’s a little too hot for these cosy fibres. Air dry instead, it’s better for the planet too!
-
Iron on a low heat if you need to straighten out your garment a bit.
